These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of livingwellpublishing.org and the content, guides, ebooks, workshops, programs, community, and communications offered by Living Well Institute LLC ("Living Well Institute," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our site or purchasing any program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1 Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing the site, subscribing to our communications, or purchasing any product or program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
2 About Living Well Institute
Living Well Institute is a non-clinical education and publishing platform offering written, audio, video, and live educational content, including guides, ebooks, workshops, a membership community, and group programs built around the Woodland Pathways Model. It is separate from Woodland Pathways Counseling, a licensed clinical therapy practice operated at woodlandpathways.com. Nothing on this site creates a clinical or therapeutic relationship with you.
3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the site or purchase any program. By using the site, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement.
4 Your account
Some programs and community features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5 Purchases, programs, and subscriptions
We offer one-time purchases (such as ebooks and individual workshops) and recurring subscriptions (such as the Living Well Community and the Model Mastermind). Prices and what each offering includes are described at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; by completing a purchase, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide.
- Monthly subscriptions (such as the Living Well Community) renew automatically each month until you cancel. To stop your next monthly payment, you must cancel at least two weeks before the next monthly billing date. A cancellation made inside that two-week window takes effect the following billing cycle.
- The Model Mastermind is a three-month commitment paid in advance and renews automatically every three months. To stop the next three-month renewal, you must cancel auto-pay at least two weeks before the next three-month term begins. Because each term is paid in advance, a term that has already begun runs to its end (see Refunds, Section 6).
- How to cancel: cancel through your account portal where available, or email us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund a term already paid.
- We may change prices or program features going forward; changes will not affect a term you have already paid for.
6 Refunds
Our refund terms depend on what you purchased:
- Ebooks and digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered.
- Paid workshops are fully refundable up to two weeks before the event. Within two weeks of the event, workshop fees are non-refundable.
- Subscriptions (the Living Well Community and the Model Mastermind) may be cancelled to stop future charges, as described in Section 5. Payments already billed — including a Model Mastermind term paid in advance — are non-refundable.
7 Intellectual property
All content on the site and within our programs — including text, guides, ebooks, the Woodland Pathways Model and its framework and stage names, graphics, logos, audio, and video — is owned by Living Well Institute or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. When you purchase or access a program, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the materials for your own personal use. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, publicly share, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
8 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site or content for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Share, resell, or distribute paid content or login access with others;
- Disrupt, harm, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems;
- Upload or transmit harmful code, or scrape or harvest data from the site without permission.
9 Community guidelines
If you participate in the Living Well Community or any group program, you agree to engage respectfully and to honor the privacy and confidentiality of other members. Do not share other members' stories or information outside the community. We may remove content or members that are harmful, harassing, or disruptive, in our reasonable discretion. The community is a peer-support and educational space, not a substitute for professional care.
10 Third-party services and links
Our site uses third-party services (for example, for hosting, payment processing, email, and live events) and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms and policies.
11 Disclaimers
The site and all content and programs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no guarantees about specific results or outcomes. Healing is individual, and your experience depends on many factors outside our control.
12 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Living Well Institute and its owner, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of or related to your use of the site or any program. To the extent any liability is found, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Living Well Institute and its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
14 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
15 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
